The Difference Between Preachers Of The Gospel and Ear-Ticklers

Distinguishing between preachers of the gospel and ear-ticklers is a simple task for those who study the word of truth and seek the face of the Most High. But for those who are seeking for truth and still blinded to the light of righteousness, ear-tickling is a trap that's hard to escape from.
"You're going to find that there will be times when people will have no stomach for solid teaching, but will fill up on spiritual junk food--catchy opinions that tickle their fancy. They'll turn their backs on truth and chase mirages. But you --keep your eye on what you're doing; accept the hard times along with the good; keep the Message alive; do a thorough job as God's servant."  --II Timothy 4:3-5 Message Bible

People don't want the soundness of the gospel because it requires work. The gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven commands us to "repent, turn away from our sinful lifestyle and be baptized of the water and the Spirit". You have to develop a rapport with the Almighty through prayer. There is constant daily vigilance to watch and pray because the enemy (Satan) is seeking an opportunity to destroy your faith. To a carnal mind, that's a lot to do.

Most of us have a welfare mindset. We want something for nothing. We want to sit back and get rewarded for breaking all the rules, using excuses in hopes of exoneration.  We want a feel-good message that tells us we're alright just the way we are.

"God understands that we're just flesh," is what ear-ticklers preach. Because an ear-tickler is more concerned with the offering than with preaching the gospel for the saving of souls. He has figured out that the money count is higher when the people 'feel good'.

Telling them that in order to be saved from the wrath to come they must stop whoring, stop getting drunk, stop smoking marijuana, stop committing adultery and fornication makes them angry and agitated. Angry and agitated folks don't give you their money.

Watch and observe the boldness of the preacher in this short video clip:

Did you hear TD Jakes say that it's okay for homosexuals to be a part of the congregation? There's nothing wrong with that IF you're going to give them the uncompromised delivering power of the gospel of Yahusha Ha Mashiach.

Jakes refuses to alienate his celebrity followers with the fat bank accounts, by telling folks like Tyler Perry and Rickey Smiley to come out of those women dresses and wigs ---because God ain't laughing with the audience. He doesn't want to offend the homosexuals with the good jobs so he allows them to preside over the choir and play the organ and piano.

A disgusting and sickening open show of rebellion against the very 'gawd' they say they serve. And with the boldness of a lion the preacher in the video said as much. This is the difference between preachers of the gospel and ear-ticklers who want to hold business conferences and family festivities--and tell the people that "gawd is gettin' ready to bless them."

The poor souls who have itching ears don't realize that the moment they opened their eyes from the night's sleep it was an indication of Elohim's blessing.

If your preacher is not tackling sin from a biblical standpoint and calling men and women to repentance and baptism of both the water and the Spirit, RUN the other way! He's a charlatan and a false prophet and he is doomed to the wrath of the Almighty.

Money is their bottom line.
